Who can provide Staff Leasing Services?

Only companies which have passed the stringent requirements of the Texas Staff Leasing Services Act can provide these services in Texas.

A licensee must demonstrate a net worth adequate to cover its obligations, the officers and owners must pass a thorough background investigation, and all state and federal taxes must be current and have been paid timely.

If a licensee offers health insurance benefits to its employees, the policies must be fully insured by the insurance companies. Self-funded and "Administrative Services Only" plans are not permitted. If a leasing company offers workers' compensation coverage (it's optional in Texas), it must be by an admitted carried as defined under the Texas Workers' Compensation Act.

Licenses must be renewed annually, with all requirements reviewed, investigated and approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Staffservices holds Texas License #133.
